Most hospital management systems are built for 200-bed hospitals and then sold to 20-doctor polyclinics. The result is familiar: a heavy system where reception uses two modules, doctors avoid the software entirely, and the IPD, pharmacy inventory, and OT modules you paid for sit untouched.
Prvaha takes the opposite approach. It is a hospital management system for facilities whose reality is outpatient care — clinics, polyclinics, diagnostic centers, and small hospitals where the OPD is the business. It covers appointments and queues, electronic patient records, prescriptions and investigations, billing and collections, configurable patient workflows, and operational reporting. It does not currently include inpatient ward management, pharmacy stock, or operation theatre scheduling. If you need those today, we will tell you plainly that Prvaha is not your system yet.

The line between a hospital management system and clinic management software is mostly about scope. A traditional HMS adds inpatient beds, wards, pharmacy inventory, and theatre scheduling on top of outpatient operations. Clinic software covers the outpatient core: scheduling, records, billing, and practice operations.
For an OPD-first facility, the honest answer is that you need the outpatient core done exceptionally well — and almost none of the inpatient superstructure. Prvaha is an HMS focused on outpatient operations: appointments, patient records, billing, consultations, workflows, and reports. It does not currently include inpatient (IPD) ward management, pharmacy inventory, or operation theatre modules — if your facility is OPD-first, that focus is exactly why it works better.
Not today. Prvaha deliberately concentrates on the outpatient journey. Facilities that primarily need OPD, records, billing, and reporting get a sharper tool; if you need full IPD management now, Prvaha may not be the right fit yet.
