Data Retention & Deletion

At Prvaha, we respect your privacy and provide you with control over your personal data. This page explains how long we keep data and how you can request its deletion.

Note for patients: Clinical records are controlled by the Healthcare Organization that treats you (the Data Fiduciary). To delete medical records, please contact that organization directly; we will assist them as their Data Processor. For your full rights, see our Privacy Policy.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data using the following methods:

Online Request Form

Submit your request directly through our secure online form. We will verify your identity and process the request within 7–30 days.

In-App Request (if available)

If you have access to your account:

  • Log in to your Prvaha account
  • Navigate to Settings › Privacy
  • Click Request Data Deletion and submit the request

What Happens After You Request Deletion

Once we receive your request:

  • We will verify your identity to prevent unauthorized requests
  • Your request will be processed within 7–30 days
  • You will receive a confirmation once your data is deleted

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon successful processing, we will delete:

  • Your personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Account details and login credentials
  • Associated usage data and analytics identifiers

Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate purposes, including:

  • Medical records (as required by applicable healthcare regulations)
  • Legal or compliance-related data
  • Security logs for fraud prevention and audit trails
  • Billing records where required by GST or tax law

Such data will be securely stored, isolated, and not used for any other purpose.

Third-Party Data

If your data has been shared with third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting or analytics services), we will request deletion from those providers where technically and contractually possible.

Important Notes

Deletion requests are permanent and irreversible. Once processed, you will lose access to your account and all associated data.
  • Some services may no longer be available after deletion
  • Deletion of your account does not automatically delete data held by Healthcare Organizations for whom you are a patient — contact them separately
